OK – so what kind of charts do we need?

Each chart type is suitable for certain application as described

TADS – Transas Admirality Data Service

Official chart collection produced from official Admiality data in ENC format. Charts are being converted to Transas SENC format. SENC format is easier to install and more reliable plus it saves data traffic. Suitable only for Transas ECDIS.

AVCS – Admirality Vector Chart Service

We can also supply official ENC charts for the vessels which are not equipped with Transas ECDIS.

ARCS – Admirality Raster Charts Service

We can also supply raster charts to suit customer needs.

TX-97 Charts

TX-97 chararts are produced from the data available in offical ENC charts but complemented with data from reliable sources providing better coverage for areas which are poorly covered by Admirality database such as small ports, marinas, bays. This charts main benefit is that they dont come with expiry date unlike ENC. TX-97 charts are extremely well accepted by yachts and vessels which dont have mandatory ENC usage but also provides great complementation to ENC collection.
